Banksia Support is a registered NDIS provider for Therapeutic Supports.
Social Work and the NDIS
Banksia Support is a registered NDIS provider for Therapeutic Supports and can support participants who are Self Managed, Plan Managed or NDIA Managed.
Social Workers can work with individuals holistically to assist with complex decision making and work alongside NDIS participants with multiple and complex needs.
NDIS Social Work services can assist participants with:
- Counselling
- Interpersonal skills and relationship building
- Adjustment, grief and loss
- Problem solving
- Identifying strengths and developing resilience
- Managing emotions and behaviours
- Self management skills
- Accommodation and tenancy support
- Plan review reports
- Psychosocial assessments
- Stakeholder engagement

Social Work
Support Item: Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Social Worker

Description: Provision to a participant of Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy, or Training (including in assistive technology) supports. The support must be delivered by Social Worker registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Price: $193.99 per hour
Animal Assisted Therapy
